We had a customer come into the store tonight who says we sold him a defective string for his diamond razor edge. We asked why it was defective, he said well its broke in half! I asked oh really how'd that happen and he said well I donno it's been in my truck since July when I shot at my last 3d shoot and I haven't touched it since. I looked it over and it looked as if the string was cut. The customer swears it just broke. I asked to see his case and how he puts it in. He showed me and when he opened the lid an arrow fell out with a Montec cs on it. He looks at us and says that dam arrow won't stay in the holder, I don't know why but its like its to skinny for the holder! Well I put 2 and 2 together and the broad head is what cut the string while he was driving around, it had wiggled around enough to cut it in half. No matter what we tried to tell him he wouldn't not believe that a broadhead would cut a string. Needless to say I wanted to smack myself because talking to this guy made me dumber
HAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHH Thats when you you notify him that broadheds go all the way thew deer, and that a string is a less challenge for a razor sharp broad head lmao
Now thats a great idea!!!! I will remember that for next time when he comes because his stabilizer isn't making the bow stop shaking.
I made this mistake on a trip to Colorado elk hunting. I spent the first day of the hunt sitting at the local bow shop getting my bow fixed and tuned while the rest of my hunting party was on the mountain chasing elk! I purchased an arrow case before I left the shop and have not had an arrow in my bow case since.... I thought about just removing my broadheads and keeping the arrows in the case but I was then afraid if an arrow came loose again it could snap one of my sight pins... I was in 9th grade!!!
I would of smacked the crap out if him. Concerning that people this stupid are out in the same woods we are in. Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk 2
