Atlas, you could read; Dreams from My Father, by our current President. Goes into some detail about his days of smoking pot and snorting cocaine. Said it "blurred" the edges of his memory. lol

Might explain some of the current "blurred" direction of the administration. Anyone that knows anything about Chicago politics would never elect anyone from there to ANY high ranking office. More of the same from that sewer of corruption. Look no further than the Rahm Emanuel circus. Our President made a lifelong profession of Chicago politics and still gets in the White House.?? Still makes me think there should be some kind of IQ test at the polls. Or, maybe you should at least show that you have earned income in the last 24 months to be eligible to vote.

This is correct, but only in a coffin with the Flag Draped over it. You put your own spin on, which I understand.

IMO it should be left to the family to decided on this one. Your other arguments, well i guess the fact he thought the prison should be closed, and then saw the value of it when he got in office to keep it open is sort of a good thing. I never wanted the place closed.

What I laugh about is everyone thinks a President or Gov should follow their vision or parties vision once they get into office. The fact he changed his mind and took a more centered approach to some of these things is fine by me. If he would have closed the prison, you would have complained, he keeps it open you complain.

He actually made the right call to get BinLaden and some complain. He's made other calls that were dead nuts wrong IMO. It's way easier to look at any President objectively when you're not drinking blue or red koolaid. For example one thing I have always had great respect for Bush is when he said he was going to do X and he thought it was the right move for the country, he did it. No matter what the polls said. He also has great respect for the office and he did a lot things right in his terms and a lot wrong.

BTW I do like your Gov idea, send us your immigrants:)

It's against the law to post graphic pictures depicting dead soldiers in war. I would assume that would be the case here ..... plus....no need to piss people off. He's dead, believe he's dead and be done with it. I know my unit has pictures but we don't post them except maybe from a distant shot so you can't see the carnage. It's the right thing NOT to do. It's not the same thing as posting a picture of Bambi.

Spin??......I didn't realize some people may think they bring home dead soldiers from battle any other way.

I can't imagine what could possibly be funny about that.............ever wonder why a candidate would NEVER say "Hey, I'll likely change my mind on most of this stuff anyways"??.........because he would NEVER get elected.

People vote you into office based on what you say you stand for and what you will do in office if put there...........if it's all BS then why bother with all the debates and speeches?

Stand by your word or you're just a another scumbag politician telling people what they want to hear.

Must have me mixed up with someone else..........I haven't complained about that at all.

Obama had to specifically hold a press conference to say he would NOT seek charges against Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld after he took office..........another lie he strung his lemmings along with.

CIA officials are under investigation as you read this by Eric Holder.

I am not sure how holding a press conference saying you would not seek charges translates into "he also wanted to pursue legal and war crime charges against members of the previous admin".

Because in his campaign he stated several times that he would and mentioned it after he took office. Another reason Bush told him to get bent when he invited him to ground zero last week.

    What?

The press conference was to tell all his disappointed lemmings that he would NOT give them what they wanted and what he had campaigned on...........charging the Bush admin with war crimes once he got into office.

You can go back and delete your statement that what I said was incorrect any time you wish.

I'll be happy to when you can show me where he campaigned on charging the bush admin with war crimes once he got into office. So far, you have shown me nothing. Until then your claim will be incorrect.
