Did pretty well, these were the two biggest. Caught them with chicken liver and local stink bait.

Sure is fun reeling the big ones in!

That's pretty cool! Do you eat them or throw them back?

I've always want to go catfishing at night...believe it or not, never have.

I only fish for cats at night! It's cooler and I can play all night without my wife kicking and screaming. :) Just don't think you are going to sleep in the next day around my house. :D

Catfishing is my other vice. I have't had much luck or time to fish so far this summer. I've been using live bait ( perch and creek chubs ) trying to catch some big ol' flatheads. Got some vacation coming up next month and planning to spend a LOT of time on the river setting trot lines and pole fishing. May try using some liver also. You got to love a big plate of fried catfish, its awsome!

I let these ones go. I do love a big plate of catfish though!

The thrill of catching them is the best part for me!

    Congrats on some nice cats!

We used to do a lot of that on the Susquehanna when I lived in southern PA. We always would buy bags of jumbo sized uncooked/unpeeled shrimp and thread them onto a 4/0 or 5/0 EWG worm hook with a swivel and slide sinker above it. We don't have many up here, but we had a lot of fun fishing all nigth for them back then.

Nice cats guys! This is my first year going after them like crazy. I traded my jet ski for a flat bottom boat and have been hooked all spring and summer. Biggest of the year was an 8 pounder and my goal is to catch 1 at least 20 pounds. lol
