Nice job Steve, If you grinder ****s the bed on you, buy the biggest hand crank one you can find at a garage sale, then order a gear reduction motor from northern hydraulics', mount the grinder on a 2" white oak board, the motor mounts on slots so you can slide it, then have a friend with a lathe make a drive shaft to couple the two to gather, a case of beer should pay for the shaft if hes much of a friend, now you have a very heavy duty meat grinder for cheap!
Yeah actually the first time I used it, I remember it worrying me. I have only used it twice but the last time I didn't notice any smell.
