Did a sit late night thanks to the right wind....

Yesterday I did and few hour sit before dark because the wind was perfect for it. Saw 6 adult deer (5 does one spike) and four fawns. After monitoring the property all year long I had some big bucks on camera in early spring but none since then. I set up some mock scrapes 1 week ago. Waiting on the big boys to come back and ready to do some doe management. Its pretty clear my buck to doe ratio is wayyyyyy off.

 

I think we've all got that problem.

 

Glad I'm not the only one.

 

If the law would allow I'd kill ten doe a year. They're everywhere down here

 

Thankfully my little brother is starting his first year bowhunting. Hopefully he will fill his 3 doe tags. Together we can take 6 off the property.
