    Hello All.
I'm new to bow hunting and am about to purchase my first bow. Right now its a toss up between the Mission Craze and Diamond Razor Edge since they fit my draw length, and weight adjustments seem easy.
Any thoughts on these two bows?

Mission has my vote as well. I shoot the Venture and couldn't be happier. I have shot several Mathews bows within the past few weeks with intentions of upgrading, but it is not worth spending the money. The quality in the Mission is phenomenal. Super quite and fast. Smooth and balanced.

Can you shoot them? If possible, try them both and buy the one you like better.

I shoot a Mission Eliminator & I love it. Good bow to start out with since they are relatively cheaper than Mathews but yet still made the same way a Mathews is!

Well it seems to be pretty one sided. Any positive thoughts about the Diamond? I've shot both and both feel pretty comfortable to me. For $30 more than the Mission, the Diamond comes ready to hunt with a truglow sight, quiver, rest, peep. The only thing I think I'll have to change out is the arrow rest for a drop away. If I go with the Mission, I'm starting from scratch with everything, which isn't such a bad thing.
    Ohhh the dilemma.

I had the razor edge as my first bow.. loved it. I shot along side of Caleb and Isaac after shooting for just a couple weeks. Very easy to learn and very light! I loved it before I got my alphamax and just shot it yesterday when I was with Ethan. I vote for Diamond.

Most bow packages come with lets say less than desirable accessories. I would much rather pick my own sight etc. You already said that the rest is not what you want. All you need now is a sight and stabilizer (KTech on my bows). At the end I would guess the Mission would be cheaper and you get what you want. Mission has Mathews warranty. Which means you will always be able to get parts for it. Mathews has every part for every bow they ever made, still available. Try getting parts for a Diamond bow that was discontinued just 4 years ago. If they both feel good to you go with the Mission. Also 100% of the profit from Mission bows goes to charity. Not many people realize this. Mathews/Mission does not make a big deal about it (or ever advertise it). But that is Matt’s “Mission”.

Both are great bows and I think you will be very happy either way. I have a Mission Riot and my girlfriend has a Diamond Razor's Edge and both are awesome. If you decide to go with Mission I would go with the Riot over the Craze, I think the super short ATA on the Craze can cause some shortcomings in accuracy/precision. The Riot is about the same price and adjusts just as much, it is just a little bigger.
