I have been a long time Hoyt shooter. With that being said I have always been interested in Bowtech/Diamond. I am not too concerned about finish issues with the limbs. This is a hunting bow. I picked up a Deadeye yesterday in a trade on another site. My question us this. Can anyone give me any tuning advice or tips? I am shooting it at 65# and 29" draw using a Trophy Taker Smack down Extreme FC.

I am truly enjoying shooting it. I was a bit weirded out at first from trying something new. But I shot it a couple times and am truly happy. I am just gonna have to find some 60# limbs.

Thought you said you are shooting it at 65lbs. Why do you need different limbs to drop it to 60?

I am shooting it at 65#. If I am going to shoot it at 60 to 62# I would rather have 60# limbs that max out at 62# to keep the bow as efficient as possible.

It's a very nice bow. I would imagine it has a rough draw with that crazy speed

The draw took me about a day to get used to. Now it doesn't seem much different to me than any other bow.

I can't tell much of a difference draw wise in shooting this thing at 70# or 62#

The draw isn't too bad and it has an excellent solid wall which I really like...I'm shooting it at 63-64lbs and enjoy it at that.

mine is at 63lbs and I love this bow. done a ton of shooting with it since I got it over the winter, I have had to re-serve my cable but whatever. I am starting to get a little bit of the finish peeling off of the riser but I'll live. Got it on sale at cabelas marked down from $800 to $500 for the package.
