Smart move IMO. The 2010 didn't need the FLX. If I was buying one, I'd have bought the 09 version too. Great smooth shooting bow. Congrats.

    Black Ice Thread

New here - I too, just bought an 09 Black Ice, and I like it. I am having a twang of the string that I am not happy with. I think it is my string stop (suppressor). I have adjusted it all the way in, just off of the string, but still get a noise. Any suggestions to quiet the noise?
    Thanks,

Well, I'll have a bow at my house on Monday after I get home from the beach.... Then I'll have to figure out how I want to out fit it. Decisions, decisions.... :tu:

Gonna go with one of my homemade stabs, but beyond that, I'm unsure. Some of the guys at the GTG will get to see one of the CHEAP homemade stabs that are actually pretty nice.

I just bought the 2010 Black Ice Flex. I am in Iraq right now and it will be waiting at home for me when I get back in October! Then off to Mississippi and Missouri to slay some deer! Cant wait.

    Diamonds are Forever...

This season will be my second one with an 08 Black Ice. It is by far my favorite bow. I don't plan to replace it anytime soon.
