I need some help finding a good detachable/quick attack tree stand.
I'm going to be hunting more public land in the future and need something I can take down after each hunt. Here in central MN climbing stands just won't work.
I found the Tree Stand Buddy as a possible option, any one have any experience with any other units?
    Thanks

I have a muddy vantage. I love it. It has a bracket that you strap to the tree and the stand lock into. You can buy extra brackets and leave them in the tree. It takes me about 15 min to get all set up with 4 muddy sticks. I sling the sticks over my sholders.

Thanks dtrimm, exactly what I'm looking for! Affordable, lightweight, and easy to backpack. Would I be able to carry a stand, 4 sticks, and my bow?

I do every time I go into the woods. I use the straps that go around the tree to tie the sticks together they snap together but just some extra. Then use the last strap as a sling. Stand is my back and a backpack over the stand. Then my bow in my other hand. And my extra jacket over the sticks. I tie my bow rope to me climb up set the stand. Pull my bow up and I'm done. Took some practice to get it down.

Millenium Treestand and Muddy or Lone Wolf Sticks!! Here is why. Millenium Treestands use a Cam-Loc Receiver that allows you hunt multiple locations and only use one stand. You can buy say 3 Cam-Loc Receivers and hang them on various trees. Then, based on the prevailing wind, hunt the best location.

The M50 and up all have this feature. I have the M50 and M100. Most Comfortabe Treestands on the Market! PERIOD!!

IMO the best run and gun, and easiest stand to put up and take down is a Lone Wolf Assault. But it has a small platform and accordingly is very lightweight. I am ordering one this weekend (LW has a Black Friday $50 off sale), had two and regretted selling them. I am 60 yrs. old and can still use LW sticks and hang a stand, tho its not getting easier.

LW with the quick attach hook is the best.
I have several hooks on trees and simply move my stand,it cannot get easier, lighter, quicker, quieter and most importantly, safer.

Spot on, I have M100 and by far the most comfortable stand I've set in. It hangs so easy and I even have enough platform room to wear my Heater Body Suit. I really can't find anything wrong with this stand.

The m100u are the nicest stand on the market right now.

If you plan to hunt into the late season in MN, I highly recommend getting a LW. By far the quietest stand out there. Also one of the most secure to a tree. With my Assault and sticks I can hang in nearly any tree that;ll support my weight.
