I will give a small run down of who I am and where I come from as far as Bow Hunting goes!!! Started shooting a Micromidas, 40lb compound bow, when I was 8 years old. I had no sights, to long of arrows, a stick on rest you could buy from Wal-Mart, and shot fingers. Instinctive shooting was all I knew at the time and well......I wasn't that bad really. I shot my first deer with that bow when I was 12 years old but could never find it. I then stepped up to a TITAN by Jennings that my brother gave me when he went into the ARMY. This was a 70lb bow with 3" rollers for cams. Loud and painfully slow is what it was. I only harvested two deer with that bow and was so glad to get away from it and into a High-Country - Split Limb used bow. The name of the bow was worn off and I never cared to find out what it was but it shot great. 235ft per second was not bad and I ended up stacking many a deer with that beast! It was then time to move into a fresh package and that was a 2007 BowTech TOMKAT. For a package deal it was hard to beat! Smooth, fast, quiet, and accurate! I ended up killing many a bambi with that small beast and had begun what I would call a BOWTECH following....... I know shoot a 2010 Destroyer 350 and have no reason to look at a new bow any time soon. I LOVE IT! Deadly accurate with it out to 60 yards, and have filled the freezer with 5+ Deer a year with it. I shot 2 sets of doubles this year and plan on adding to that TOMORROW!!!!! Like most of you Bow Hunting is not a "SPORT" to me. It is a true passion that is hard to explain to most people. Yea I can shoot all the deer I want/need with my .308..... And don't get me wrong I usually kill a couple with it..... But I would rather kill one with my Bow 99.9% of the time! Growing up shooting is something that I will always cherish because my Dad and Brothers and friends were right there with me. All of our great hunts have been with a BOW and that is what I love .. I will hopefully have all of my camera gear ready to go next year and can post up some of my freezer filling moments! I will be heading out to Missouri to hunt a close friend of mines fathers land......then heading to OHIO for a fair chase BIG BUCK hunt! I have hunted with Blueberry Hill Outfitters in Saskatchewan-Canada and just might make another trip up there next year with my Bow and Camera!!!!!!! Glad to be here and I hope everyone has had an AWESOME SEASON! I have 7 in the freezer so far and looking at 1 more to process into Jerky (In NC we can buy extra Doe Tags ) Oh, and Boostjunkie1 is what I have gone by for years..... Fast Turbo Charged Cars and Trucks got the better of me from 2003 to 2007 .... LOL
