About two months ago now I was at ****'s Sporting Goods and came across the Delta Proshot Foam Block Target. It appeared to be a decent target being partners with McKenzie, and while I didn't expect it to last me a long time, I figured for a price of only $39.99 it was great. It had 4 shootable sides and could be used with broadheads. I quickly learned, however, that the old adage "you get what you pay for" holds true. I took it home and shot for about and hour and it held up fine. A few days later, after putting probably another 3 hours of arrows into it is when I really started to notice some issues. My arrows were burying deeper and deeper with each shot so I utilized the other 3 shootable sides. About a week after that chunks of foam began falling out. At this point, after owning the target for about 3 weeks, I realized it was not going to make it until next summer, and decided to shoot some broadheads at it, seeing as it was suitable for broadhead use. After about maybe a dozen broad head shots, I am now aware that the target is not even going to make it to the season opener. Now all my arrows, no matter what kind of tip is on them, go right through the target as if nothing is even there. I strongly advise shelling out a bit more cash and getting a better target.
