If the Cavs win this series, and Lebron continues his dominance, I think that will go a long way towards putting him up there w. MJ as the best ever. Labron is a great player, but he has never been a great closer. MJ was one of the best ever at sticking the dagger in the opponent and finishing the job. If Labron learns how to do that, then I think he will become MJ's equal. Until then, MJ is still the greatest player of all time.

The Cavs went from an offensive team to a defensive team, and that plays a big factor. BUT, you're looking at the end results and not at the potential the team still has. He doesn't HAVE to shoot that much or put that many points on the board. There are 4 players (3 of which are current starters) NOT named Kevin Love or Kyrie Irving have a BETTER FG% than LeBron this playoffs, and numerous others are just barely under him. So you can't tell me that he HAS to shoot those shots, he's just choosing to. Is he the leader? Yes. Does the offense run through him? Yes. Is he getting it done? Yes. Is the rest of the team underutilized and underestimated? YES. The numbers don't lie.

Numbers can lie though somewhat...Bradshaw isn't a better QB than Brady just by super bowl win stats :D

Lebron is going to continue averaging 40 points or more I bet, the Warriors want to let Lebron get his...we saw it in the 4th quarter...if Klay and Curry perform Cavs have no chance to win. Sadly though if Curry is off and Klay feels over pressured the Cavs will continue to win close ones I bet. Partly due to the players they have like Deli and Mozgov...

NFL playoffs and Super Bowl combined are 3-4 games depending on seed, NBA playoffs and Finals combined are a minimum of 16 games. Stats are pretty telling in the NBA. Having 3 current Cavs starters who maintain a FG% higher than LeBron throughout the playoffs and then saying that it's all LeBron because he's scoring so many points doesn't make sense. Just because that's what the result is doesn't mean that's how it has to be is all I'm saying. I just want the rest of my Cavs to get some respect, ya dig!? :)

Mozgov, Thompson, and Delly have been must haves, and JR Smith has been on point when needed.

Warriors actually aren't doubling him the majority of the time, another reason why he's getting so many attempts. It is their game plan because it has worked for others in beating his teams. Let Lebron get his and make others beat you....the problem is if your team underperforms it all can be a wash. Only time you really see doubling down on Lebron is when he drives...and that's only because no one man can really stop Lebron driving by himself, he is that good at it.

So when Cav players get the dish out pass from LeBron and they are standing unguarded that is just blown coverage?

This is exactly what they are doing...SO FAR. Just watch tonight for the Warriors to put David Lee in, he will be able to score more than their other bigs but he won't be able to defend LeBron and you will see them start double teaming LeBron more regardless where he is on the court. What they hope putting Lee in will do is pull the help off Curry because they will have to help defend against Lee who is really good under the basket, which will then create more shots for Curry. The Warriors aren't trying to figure out how to stop the Cavs from scoring, they're just going to force a favorable matchup and try to score more points by breaking up the Cavs defense.

All the Warriors need to do in order to win, is Curry hit half of his 3's, and everyone step up on D

Kind of hard to do when Dellavedova and someone else shifts over to double team him, which is why they will play David Lee moving forward. He will require attention and pull the double team because he can score under the basket. If he gets the ball and doesn't have a shot, he will dish the ball out to Curry who will shoot the 3. It's the same concept that LeBron and Love used all year.

Some takes are humorous on here and ESPN... If anyone actually believes the Warriors are cool with LBJ dropping 40 a night and triple doubles as long as they lock down the other guys like Mosgov and Delly you are delusional... The Warriors would love to lock down Lebron and BEG the other crappy role players to beat them. The problem is, they can't stop him. When LBJ is on like this, no one can.

If the Splash Brothers are playing out of their minds together, that team is nearly unbeatable as this whole season has proven. When Curry is off, the team is beatable (duh, he's the MVP). If Lebron was off, the rest of Cleveland would combine for 45 points the entire game.

If LeBron is having an off night he can still drive and dish, he's an assist king. They beat the Bulls in their final game of the series and LeBron only had 15 points, the Bulls were the team who was supposed to beat the Cavs and go to the Finals. The Cavs won 12 games this season when LeBron scored under 20 points, which is a point total that is achievable by just about any starter in the league. Listen, I'm not trying to discredit LeBron, I think people are just knocking on the rest of the team way too hard. I don't think Curry or Thompson are necessarily off, it's that the Cavs are playing lights out defense. The Warriors are outmatched on the backboard too.

His team was great... until in Game 3 he ended up playing without the rest of his ENTIRE starting line up essentially. No Varejo, no Love, no Kyrie, No Shumpert... I agree if both lineups are fully healthy, its a heck of a match up. The Warriors should honestly sweep the Cavs roster as it currently stands. If you are drafting a team from scratch, after Lebron, there are 6-7 GS players before you even CONSIDER taking another Cavs player currently playing.

I agree on that. Compared to the Warriors there are a lot of way better players over there, I just want some love for my team. :) Tonight is a big night! GO CAVS!

Good game so far. I think whoever wins this game wins the series. Hell of a comeback for the Cavs right now.

They need to start making free throws. They'd be leading right now if they had made the ones they've missed. 2nd quarter was very sloppy but I like what I see so far in the 3rd.
