Is Deliverance one of the greatest films you ever saw . I just ordered the remastered version

I remember watching this film in the mid 80's and always dreamed of doing a similar trip down river with friends , tent , Bow and Arrow ....Just without the Piggy moment ;) . Always wanted to be the Burt Reynolds character .
I suppose looking back this is where i got my first insight into bowhunting and always new i'd try it at some point , i even remember making my first bow in the woods about 1hour after it finished using an oak branch and string from my dads garage .... Memories .

Is there any other films simillar with hunting theme i should look for ? , i already have Jeremiah Johnson after will got me hooked on it the lastnight of our Colorado trip lastyear .

Crap, you beat me to that one Rowell. I was thinking the very same thing.

As for the question, it is a darn good movie.
