No thanks, I don't like your sense of fair play so I wouldn't be interested in what you're selling.

That's your assumption about the balls and the QB. Professional sports is a dirty and cut throat business, every team out there is always on the lookout for opportunity and the league itself is crooked. It's just as likely that the ball handlers were bribed to manipulate the balls in an effort to thwart the patriots as anything else based on what little evidence there is. Or that the league itself had some unknown motive for setting the entire mess up. Maybe Brady should be more careful of criticizing Obama or accept an invitation to the WH when invited....

I'll be surprised if the NFL appeals, I'd think their black eye would be severe enough at this point to curb any further action.

The NFL has been equal to the WWE for quite sometime now.

The NFL has done a great job of staying in the media during their offseason and this sort of thing will continue with no consequences for each side.

I blame fantasy football for every bad aspect of the NFL, from rule changes to suspensions.

Just read a report that the NFL is in fact going to appeal but not seek an injunction to stop Brady from playing while they appeal.

I would kindly recommend you read the case for his appeal. It had nothing to do with guilt or amount of evidence. It had to do with the appeals process. Remember Ryan Braun won an appeal based on process also. I guess he is innocent as well.

Regardless of what a judge has decided about the suspension, the NFL was in the right when they suspended him. There's absolutely no doubt that Brady had knowledge and was involved in the process. Also, involved in the process of destroying information and not being cooperative with the NFL's investigation. He was cheating, period. When you connect the dots and follow the trail, you can see this has been going on for a very long time. The easiest was to see that is to look at the fumble numbers of the Patriots vs. the rest of the NFL. The only way they could prove to me that they haven't been cheating is to once again lead the league in the fewest amount of fumbles for the next couple years. My guess is they will be league average in fumbles this year.

I'm sure he probably knew, but that's not how the legal system works. Probably and without a reasonable doubt are very different things. Setting that aside, the suspension was overturned because of the suspension process due to the following reasons:

    1. The court found that Brady had no notice that he could receive a four-game suspension for general awareness of ball deflation by others

    2. Brady also had no notice that his discipline would be the equivalent of the discipline imposed upon a player who used PEDs

This isn't a court of law situation. There is no need to prove without a shadow of a doubt. This was basically a union grievance. The NFL should turn around and suspend him for impeding the investigation and destroying evidence.

The phone deal is just stupid, one can get the text from the server.

The facts are, whether they have 100% proof or not, no equipment manager in the world would risk his job by tampering with anything unless he was being asked/pressured to do so by someone with more authority and power than him. In this case, the person that would care then most would be Tom Brady. There's plenty of evidence that link those guys to Brady through testimony and phone records.

To me, there's nothing worse than a guilty person getting off on a technicality. That's what we are talking about here.

The NFL would never get the court order required to obtain the server records.

Probably not without a subpoena and since this is not a criminal investigation, I don't know if that would be possible.

Simple question, they had the trainers phone, text work both ways. They should have found the text on the trainers phone. Also why has neither of these two men spilled their guts? They guy called himself the deflator

Phones are easy to clone, having both phones would take away the ability for Brady to say I didn't send those messages.

There were phone conversations. I'm guessing Brady is smart enough to not leave an electronic trail into his exploits. If I want to talk about something private and sensitive, I'm going to send you a text like, "Hey, call me", not "Hey, I really need you to deflate my balls."

I think someone else gave the order, and it was verbal

Possibly, but I still can't see a scenario where it wasn't something that was direct from Brady and his person preference.

I strongly disagree with those that still refuse to accept that Brady was wrongly suspended....but whatever, I respect many of you too much to keep arguing about it.
    The end.
