Oh my goodness.....the word retard means slow and stupid. I am not using the terms retard or retarded while describing those with mental handicaps. Again, I have worked in the direct care of mentally and physically disabled children for the last decade and love them to death. SOOOO, the word retard again was created around 400-500 years ago to describe those people who are slow or socially disabled. Both those terms obviously fit the above named idiots, imbeciles, morons, retards. I am in no way talking about children who are born retarded guys. OK? And yes, I agree with them making their own choices, etc.

Why, so that we don't hurt anyones feelings? Political correctness is like saying that you can pick up a turd by the clean end. It is over rated and gets too much attention. There was never any malice toward anyone with the choice of words nor was there any attempt to create conflict. It's like saying "that's so gay", there are some that get their panties in a bunch over the use of that phrase as if it is a knock on a lifestyle choice.
