You say that you do it the old fashioned way then I look at your signature LMAO!!! I guess the things you want to use is ok but if someone else wants to use something that is legal but you don't approve it isn't ok.

^^^ Exactly, its so much more rewarding when you out smart the deer with skills instead of baits.

How about we just let people hunt the way that makes them happy, bait or no bait. Thats why we hunt isn't it? To spend time in the woods and be happy with our lives? You better bet that when October 1st is here there will be a bit of bait in front of my blind. If you dont like that...too bad. I don't hunt like that all the time, but its a good plan to quickly put some meat in the freezer and it works fine.

Yup I bet it was super hard to kill that 1.5 year old buck with a gun Unless you were bow hunting during gun season which would be really rewarding

yup, yup, nope, nope. I hunt travel corridors.Closet food is probably 150 yards away and I dont gun hunt and I dont care what weapon anyone chooses that is their decision. As for food piles i draw the line there. They dont call it baiting for nothing.

Fine you draw the line there so be it. But the arrogance of your better than anyone that uses bait is where I draw the line. Again the bottom line is it is legal. And anyone that hunts under legal means I want on my team !

So you are saying it is unethical to hunt legally because you don't believe in it...Pat hit the nail on the head with the arrogance thought.

I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I'll use corn this season..... Who the heck am I kidding. I'll be putting a pile out a couple weeks before opening day and whacking a doe first chance I get. Probably orphan a fawn or two. I ain't holding back this year. I need to kill some deer and make up for that first season I went COMPOUND bow only.

Why? Because its my God given right to do so. Baiting is legal here and I intend on using every resource I have available. Do I think I'll take a 140 class buck over corn? Nope but, don't think for one dang minute if he steps in my corn pile at 20yd my Centroid won't eat because it will.

This crap of I wouldn't hunt over a bait pile is just that, a bunch of crap! If it makes you feel better to hunt without it, go ahead. But, screw you if you think you're better than me because you do. Hunt how you like and I'll hunt how I like. As long as I'm legal, leave us bait pile hunters alone!

Now that I've probably just got myself a disciplinary action, I will say this. When I decide to trophy hunt, I'll leave my training wheel bait piles and start hunting deep in the big buck bedding area BEAST style.

Good luck to every Bowhunter out there in their up coming season!
