    Wouldn't bother me a bit, the only meat I have ever threw away was a right front should from a buck who broke his leg. It was filled it the nastiest stinking puss I've ever seen

    I took a doe a couple years ago that had three or four around her head. I dressed her out and ignored them like any other deer. I don't think I'd use one that was covered in them though.

    Is the wart actually derived from the muscle or is it localized in the skin? I'm not eating the skin. :tu:

    Good article. I've never seen a deer covered in them, but have shot and eaten deer with a few on their face. It's in the skin, and usually not a problem.
