Since I shot a doe on nov. 1 I have only got nighttime or way early morning trail cam pics of the deer. Anyone else seen this going on? I assume it is the rut maybe? Let me know what you think

I don't think the full moon smack in the middle of the month has helped either!

Full moon here too IMO. I usually see more mid day deer then but haven't been but once or twice since I got the 8 point on the
12th. I am seeing more rubs this year earlier than usual but our rut doesn't start for about a month in Central Bama.

I don't believe deer go nocturnal. Either you're hunting to far away from their bedding area or they're feeling the pressure in your hunting area and are avoiding it during daylight. They're on their feet during daylight, you just need to find where that is. Thats the hunting part of the sport.

If you feel like this is your problem then try getting into your stand early in the morning and catch them on there way to there bedding area. Good Luck!
