i have an opprotunity this year to hunt a new woods. it is about 50 acres of woods with 5-6 acres of food plot in it. while me and the owner were quick buzzing up some fallen trees yesterday, i couldent help but notice some of the heavy trails that lead onto the plot. it was very obvious that the deer were using these. if i do get to hunt this location, how far or where exactly should i set my stands from these trails?
Always approach the prevailing side of the plot and depends what you want to kill.... Sure deer are eating there but is the deer "you" want to kill eating there during daylight..... cameras should tell you whats in there inventory wise but you may have to hunt stagging area
