    Outdoor Edge makes the best blades out there. They keep their edge better than any knife ive used

    Ive been using a Buck Omni hunter 12pt. with gut hook for several years now. I really like the fixed blade for skinning/processing. It's always been easier to clean for me than a folder. I really want to try the Havalon though.

    With so many people making knives these days a lot of guys are carrying custom/handmade stuff. This is mine made with 1084/L6 steel, bodark handle and copper fittings. The wood harvested locally and the copper cast from scrap. Lad.jpg

    I carry a regular 4" sheath knife and a 3" folding Uncle Henry. Never needed more, just keep em sharp.. used to have a buck folder, but didn't like it... metal is too hard, once it loses its edge it's a pain to get sharp again..
