Was at work before daylight this morning and as the sun was coming up went to a vantage point that I use a lot to spot deer in the area. Large bowl area between to ridge tops that had been a construction site and had been reclaimed and seeded with grass and a great stand of clover. The deer were everywhere, I probably spotted about 40+ deer with about 10 - 12 bucks. Picked out 4 dandy bucks that I am guessing will gross over 150. Man was I pumped about the upcoming season.

Add a cup of coffee and it doesn't get any better than that

Yes, I am blessed to be able to hunt this area. It is a bow only area and last year I was able to harvest a beautiful 163" buck from the same general vicinity.

I use the same approach to log landings after the loggers move out. the leave you nice little food plots. good luck with them!
