So opening morning of rifle season here in oklahoma.......and there is a tree stand over looking our land....that we bowhunt only.......what do you think about that.....
Well I think I'd be pretty ticked off. This sorta happened to me this year went out to put some stands up on my land and someone had built a wooden stand on my propert so I tore it down and posted a big no trespassing sign right were his stand was don't think they been back lol
I think I'd be waiting in that tree stand on opening day of the season and see who shows up! really thats dangerous though....i've heard horror stories of poachers who don't like thier poaching interrupted.
If it's not on your land, there is nothing you can do about it being there however, what I would have done is set up beside it on my property to ensure that said person would not be shooting onto my land.
first get hold of the landowner and let him know. it maybe something he doesn't know about. you should post your land on that spot, i put orange vest in the woods just far enough off where they can see the orange and think someone is there, past that.. i clean out all the hair brushes around the house and the place hair upwind of his stand site,also i have used gallons of urine around stand sites like this for line hunters. there is always wait for them to shoot a deer on your ground and call the law when they try and retrieve the deer, this happened on my place last year and they did not get the deer and they lost there right to hunt that ground.
