That’s crazy! Where in eastern, Va?

I live in Fredericksburg, Virginia and the three butchers closest to me charge 75 - 80. The $80 butcher vacuum seals and the $75 butcher uses butcher paper.

I processed three this year for a grand total of about 15 dollars in freezer paper.

    Plus your time.

The butcher I use charges around $100, he's also my taxi when I've had the rare opportunity to need one.

I actually enjoy gutting and processing deer, plus I am really picky about removing all fat and silver skin.

WOW, thanks all....seems pricing is all over with Mom & Pop shops being the most cost friendly ?

I'm looking at grinders and once I find one I like (after Christmas) I'm buying.

Looking at prices...Price for a decent grinder could be bought after 2 deer ;) (3 at most)
