So the state I hunt in allows baiting during hunting season.
My question is that do you think that it does more harm than good to run out to your stand to dump corn on the 4wheeler?

by doing this am I putting too much pressure on the spot which is outweighing the benefits of being able to hunt over the corn pile?

    thanks.

NO! It does more good than harm. The lure of corn is strong. I've been baiting deer for years and I'm pretty good at it. Does that make me a......master baiter:nana:

It depends on your state's hunting pressure. In Canada it's no big deal for the deer. High hunter pressure it may be touchy working bait sites. In Wisconsin where legal it's a very devisive issue. Getting baldies and puppy bucks sucked in is easy, mature bucks not.
Spread of disease, driving deer nocturnal, are real issues. But we live in an instant gratification society and the tv god's perpetuate this with boatloads of attractant products which are used illegally in most states.

where I hunt there are a lot of four wheelers driving around all the time trails and whatnot.it is my belief that the sound of four wheelers doesn't necessarily scare the deer but it doesn't make them the cited to get upI also think that this when you're here four wheelers moving around they probably just freeze and don't movetoo much driving the 4 weather good push big boys away. but I think driving a four wheeler in the woods is a lot better than walking through the woods
