are the homebrew camera's actually what they say they are or is that just a name? If it is actually homebrew, how do you make them up and what camera's and triggers do you use?
Homebrew = Homemade. I've made three using a Sony P32 camera. As far as boards, I'm quite fond of the Bigfoot Trailmaster boards and have one in all three of mine. You then just need a waterproof case, couple of glass lenses, fresnel, and some other odds & ends. It's really not that difficult. The build price depends on how much you buy the camera for. I try to stay around the $30 mark for a used camera (this applies to the P32). Other models are more expensive. The initial build will cost you more but some of those supplies will be available for several builds. I can build these for approx $115 or so.
