    Honesty?

Every deer hunter lies except me and you....and I'm not so sure about you.

Sounds like to me we got someone who wants to know how close a deer fell after bein shot, as in a contest, then when people post there results all of a sudden all the ethical hunters that have never took a iffy shot come out of the woodwork

Sorry about that I think what they are getting at is often overlooked...but if you hang your stand 35 feet in the sky you get the same thing teaching good skills broadside not from empire state building is one of them.
Read my other post and you will get what I was trying to Say. Techniques to slow them down after shot!
    Sorry again!

Every hunter has taken a questionable shot, if you havn't I'd like to hear about your limited hunting experience. Intentionally shooting a deer in the face below your stand does not qualify as iffy.

My Opinion: Taking an iffy shot would be a high risk shot with a small margin of error. Example: Severly quartering away, directly facing, long distances that have been practiced, etc... Taking an unethical shot would be a shot taken intentionally that is taboo to the general public and hunting community. A shot that if not executed perfectly will guarantee a slow misserable death. Example: Femoral Artery, The Texas Heart Shot, Head shots. If you were aiming at the vitals and at the shot the doe suddenly looked up and you hit her in the face, I can maybe understand that. If you intentionally shot a deer in the face and came on a forum to brag about it, then god help us. We all need to think about what the non-hunting community thinks of hunting, the image of hunting, so this sport can continue.

Silencesling, you may want to think about just deleting this thread, there is only one direction it's headed.

Dude, you shot a deer in the face on purpose and come here and brag about it. If you're going to do something that highly unintelligent, you better have some thicker skin......or keep it to yourself.

Why would someone in their right mind shoot a deer in the face? You got lucky it died. That is completely an unethical shot and makes the whole hunting community look like idiots. Do us all a favor justahuntin and leave this site again. We dont want you here.

Dude, If you left this site and found a site elsewhere where something like shooting a deer in the face is excepted and/or supported... what to say... what to say...

I hope you're just on here trying to cause issues, hope and pray...
