Only if we start it at 15 yards out because everyone knows that anything closer than that is unethical due to shot angles.

You probably already know Ben, but for those that don't, I was referring to the shot placement.

Sorry. Ozifur, Mr. Police person!
    This is what i meant!
I saw a video one time of a guy hunting on small tracts of land grunt immediatly after the shot and the deer slammed on the brakes and it was over. He was from New Jersey go figure! This does work!
I've done this ever since and it is remarkable how it calms the animal down.
    Rather than Blazing a trail!
I know if the shot is correct it does not matter, however, if this is done more often, I believe recovery will be much easierer they will lock'em up after they hear that grunt. Bucks & Does alike!
You have to have that grunt call at the ready for sure to do it right! Strapped to shooting forearm.
    Has anyone else tried this?

No and I don't think its a good idea. Some idiot would intentionally spine shoot a deer just to have it drop in its tracks.

Last year I shot a small basket rack 9 point at about 35 yards and he turned and ran directly into my tree and broke his neck. I thought he was gonna try and run up my tree and spear my ass. So I think I'm winning. Mine was ethical and a included a whole crap ton of luck. Gimme that trophy!

Not trying to stir the pot or start anything, but I'm almost certain that the deer in the second and third picture has a crossbow bolt in its head.

Don't worry this doesn't stir the "pot" because it's of little to no importance to the anti hunter what type of arrow it is. It's a tool for thier arsenal.
