In theory, it makes some sense. But most of us aren't hunting 600+ acre properties. Trying that on a 40 acre property like many of us hunt will often just push deer on to the next property.

Ya'll don't think that has anything to do with them providing a smorgasbord via food plots and feeders? It would appear they feed the deer on their land 1000s of pounds of corn a year. If I pressured the deer on my properties like that they would simply go else where. He who has the biggest corn pile wins!

I get that they are hunting a larger property than most, but I think the idea is don't be afraid to check your trail cams once a week during the offseason. You don't have to go tromping around the woods raising a ruckus, just get them used to you being there, so come time for hunting season your scent doesn't spook them as much.

That's an interesting way to look at it. In theory it makes perfect sence. However if every time you are in there you are feeding them that can't hurt either. Most guys probably go check there cameras once every week or two anyway.
