    It was tough for me not to be out there this morning, but my wife had to teach a class. It was nice and frosty here. I plan on heading out around 1.

    BTW, nice pic...made me laugh. Sitting all day?

    I had a great night last night. Nearly 20 deer, 4 buck, 1 shooter (out of range and I'm tagged out in PA). We did have a pretty good front moving in and the weather is nasty this a.m. It's supposed to clear up in the evening so I'll be out.

    I believe more in the weather than I do the moon. I think the moon has an effect on when the rut will start, but I don't believe it is a predictor for day-to-day activity. Too many other variables.

    I have seen less deer this year than ever....sans PA ......I have had more oppportunities tho..... I just blew them :o

    Yep, raining here too (but no big wind)...and like a dummy I went this morning for a few hours. Saw nothing. If it stops, I may go out this evening...but it ain't looking good right now.

    I hung a stand in July with plans on hunting it this morning. Veterans Day is the only weekday I get to hunt all season, so I headed to the tree with high hopes. Nada, zip, zilch. So I drive 30 minutes home and see a decent buck checking scrapes behind the house. How's that for a kick in the beans?

    It is sunny and 50s here ..... crappy deer hunting weather....just got off a 14 hour shift at work .....18 hours starts tonight..... no hunting for me the next few days ...... and I dont even care with this weather ;)
