Deer meat

does anyone know of any places that sell venison? I’m looking to try a new recipe that I found online with some and since I’m new to archery. I don’t want to go out out due to the possibility of injuring a deer. Any advice would help!

Tried a local butcher or Online?

 

You have about 5 or 6 months to practice relentlessly.... but even if you're great on target it's not the same as shooting an animal. No other way to gain experience than to get out there

Try Whole Foods they might have red deer or elk.

If you even have them.

 

I didn’t. I wasn’t sure if it was legal to buy or sell it in Massachusetts :/

I have whole foods. I actually used to work in one but I never knew the whole time I was there. They sold deer and/or elk

 

Here they have it with the bison back in the butcher section.
