Dors anybody have any experience hunting deer or turkey around Carney, Oklahoma. I just bought a few acres out there but I’m not very familiar with the area. Hoping there is a good deer and turkey population out there. I am in Afghanistan at the moment and haven’t even got to see the property in person yet, just satellite and FaceTime with my wife while she walked the property with the realtor. Any info is appreciated. Here is a pic of the property, not sure how old it is.
Carney has a good wildlife population. Lots of post oak and cedar. How many acres? Your pic did not post. I have seen nice deer out that way. I used to turkey hunt out north of Carney and have zero complaints, lots of good birds.
Here is the pic. It’s a small place, only ten acres. But plenty of room around there and some big crop fields about 500 yards to the north west. No fence so I think I am gonna hinge cut the property line.
