    Here is a Thanksgiving day pig doe from my Nephew Airman Adam who came home on leave for a few weeks of the NY gun season ... the kid is a sniper :)

    It has been awesome fun, Matt! The bucks have eluded us so far and we have passed on fawns .... we shall see what the next three days bring :)

    Good Luck! Its been a slow start to gun season here...but that matches the rest of my season. haha

    Congrats to those who have scored so far.

    This is the first year I did not fill a tag during our 1st gun season. Due to work, I'll only be out next Saturday and Sunday for our 2nd season. Hopefully a couple does decide to stroll by....

    A friend shot this buck this morning. He was using a gun, and in Ohio, so it wasn't really hunting. He went for a walk, looked behind a tree, and killed his biggest buck ever.

    No pictures, but my cousin's husband shot his first buck yesterday on my parents property (very nice 9 point), my dad saw 4, I saw 14 (two bucks, one got a pass, the other I couldn't get a shot off), and our cabin took three REALLY nice bucks opening morning. Heck of a first day.
