My brother-in-law and I hAve very differing opinions on those "food attractants" or other "baits" such as Apple Crush" or Sugar Beats Crush" and etc. In my opinion, we hunt an area where sugar beats and apples don't grow naturally and are not part of the deer's food cycle, therefore such attractants aren't effective and can actually make deer alert and spook. Has anyone had luck using non-natural food attractants? Please. Prove me right!!!

I feed most of the year I use a mix from the local feed mill. I don't have corn or soybeans growing or sunflowers but the deer sure like it.

Rice bran is cheap and I have had awesome success with it, the deer around here eat around 50lbs a week

Rice bran is one of the foods the deer I feed won't eat.

I have heard that when I was reading about feeding it, they either love it or won't touch it. But for $7.49 for a 50lb bag well worth a chance. The deer on our lease love it.

If you give them a chance to check it out it shouldn't be a problem. I wouldnt put it out and hunt over it immediately any changes that they don't have time to adjust to can be a problem.

My experience has been the opposite... The more prevalent a food source is naturally in the area the less impact it will have putting that food out. Find something that they don't have any of in the area an they will tear it up.

I have been using Apple crush for years and have had tons of success with it. I use it mainly as a scouting tool and to me it's almost as important as my cameras.

I have had a lot of success with Feeder Intensi-Fire by Wildgame Innovations. It is hard to find now, but when you can it is worth it.

This has been my experience the last 2 seasons. Apple Crush actually worked great after about a week to 10 days. Thanks for the insights
