Anybody know of any deer farms below the catskills that sell deer scent? There may be non but it doesn't hurt to ask.
They're not below the Catskills... but they are in NY. I think they're headquartered near Rochester or Buffalo. I won a hunting trip sponsored by them to Penn. a few years ago. The owner, Kevin, is a pretty straight shooter and nice guy. I love their Golden Rod cover scent. The place I won this trip to had a couple bucks in a pen. Kevin sprinkled a little of his doe pee in the enclosure. I thought the bucks were going to do each other. They definitely got interested. I don't use much of anything anymore except the wind direction. I would say theirs is as good as anyones. They have their own herd and control doe output by controlling day light hours they're exposed to. They have some of their scents they say you should order for a set time frame and use within a set time frame. No preservatives or anything other than refrigeration. Well they used to. I've used kishel scents before as well, they sell them at a little country store near my hunting area, I've had about as much luck with them as I have had with other companies.
