I read this yesterday. Is there currently no baiting in Shawano county?

Baiting is banned currently in Shawano County. Even though there has never been a wild deer tested positive from the county.

You have Buck Hollow right down the road from you and the other deer farm that had that deer escape that created the baiting ban in Clark county

Dr Kroll will tell you commercial deer farming is safe and a good idea.

Well he is the Governor and responsible in large part for dictating the State's policies on things like captive wildlife which can spread disease to wild wildlife, which just so happens to generate millions of dollars of revenue for both the state and private business.

Given what we know about CWD, how prevalent it is in captive deer herds, and how easily it can be relocated due to the movement of infected animals, you'd think at some point the gub'ment would get their heads out of their collective butts and start thinking about making some real changes. But they have better things to worry about - like finding ways to keep our health care costs on the rise so their pharmaceutical company buddies can donate to their campaigns and take them golfing.
