    It s bad. Really bad. They've found 10 so far on the property I hunt but that's nothing compared to other places close by. One of my buddies had 2 dead bucks next to his corn pile and found another dozen deer in one holler. It smells like road kill every where you go in some counties.

    I'm from Lawrence and hunt a 400 acre farm and haven't had a picture of one buck in about four weeks.

    I wonder why it gets so bad in the mountains? Last really bad one we had was 03. Had a few in 07 but not like this. The places I hunt in central KY get hit some but never the amount of deer as in East KY.

    I have not heard of any here yet. We have been through it a couple of times. It takes several years to rebound. We are just now bouncing back from the last round.
