The state (park rangers) is driving a state park golf course tomorrow morning and I'll be there for the drawing. It's a shotgun only hunt and hopefully I'll get picked for one of the stands. This would be my first time being part of something like this. I golf there and know there's many deer there. It's a once a year deal.

    Any advice?

    Thanks in advance,
    Mike

Only advise I have is make sure you know whats beyond your target at all times and if not dont even attempt to shoot. My uncle got shot in a deer drive by his brother because of a deer between one another. I'm not fan of drives, and putting unfamiliar people in unfamiliar property and doing a deer drive to me sounds like a horrible idea. Good luck and stay safe.

Didn't get picked, but thanks for info. Only 18 stands on a whole golf course. Hunters in stands, rangers drive. Antlerless only. Apparently very well run. 65 guys for drawing, last year 100. I'll try next year...
