The only problem I see with that method is keeping track of my fingers.

Otherwise, very impressive. I suspect he has done that before. I need to kill more deer to practice on.

I would probably shoot a lot more does, each year, if I could do it that fast.

I'll have to practice that. Never even thought about doing it in "fast mode".

Yeah he's pretty fast, I suspect he does this for a living. Something that's making it faster for him is that it's a fresh kill. Deer are a lot easier to skin when their still warm then after rigor mortis sets in. The hide kind of glues on when they get cold.

I usually field dress and then let them hang (if weather permits) for a few days before I skin and process it. It helps give the meat a better flavor. But when it's warm, the way this guy's doing it is the way to go.

nice video. made me think of the guy I used to take my deer to before I started processing it myself. He used some type of electric winch setup. He had a cable with a meat hook anchored to the floor and another cable that ran to the winch with a meat hook also. He would cut around the legs, make a straight cut down the belly and the back and then just rip the hide off with the winch. I thought it was a neat little invention and it worked really well.

Pretty sweet. I find it funny he is wearing a collared shirt while doing this. After cutting up all those deer do you think he changed before going out to the bar?

I wouldn't. I would love to see the reactions and facial expressions from all of the city-slickers in the bar :)

I've been doing it that way for many years. I just am not trying to set records.

I bet he is wearing Kevlar gloves. Heck I know I would if I tried to move that fast.
