how does cold temps affect your trail cams, mine seem to shut down with temps in the 30-40 degree range, so im looking for a new cam with low temp range. any help?

My Leaf river has a sweet spot right around freezing that it doesn't like, but then I can get photos down to -30 and colder! Last winter I had one set of batteries last from mid December through March. Now, if I could just get it to work better in the 32 range...

My Moultrie I-40's took pics in 0* temps last winter. I don't think the batteries last as long when it's that cold, but the camera worked fine.

My Cuddeback capture seemed to work fine all last winter. I got through winter with 2 sets of batteries and it was damn cold.

No troubles with my Reconyx In the cold temps either. Had It out In -20 below temps. Battery's held up good but not quite as good as when It's warmer out. I gaurantee you that any camera you decide to go with the battery life will struggle more In the winter then In the warmer months.
