Ive found an area with 4-5 crab apple trees down here in Louisiana. It doesn't look like the deer are hitting them that hard if any. I know up in Wisconsin trees like this usually draw deer in. Here the acorns are everwhere now and maybe it is just that they do not prefere the crab apples to those? Any Louisana hunters have an opinion?

I'd go with there hitting the acorns.
