Age? (See pics below for size reference)

I have his sheds, and he gross scored 141" - so that will help you judge his body in reference to his antler size.

I'm a lot of things, but I'm definitely no expert on aging deer.

Tell me how old you think this deer is, and explain why.

Here are a few other deer standing in the same spot for reference.

A stud 3.5 I think. Not big enough body wise and muscle mass I don't think to be a 4.5. Wouldn't shock me though If he was.

I originally thought 4.5, but after looking at it some more, I'm thinking a heck of a 3.5........... BUT, like Steve said- I wouldn't be surprised if he's 4.5

Kind of difficult to tell from the pictures honestly. I say 3 year old, not enough muscle mass in the neck, high rear end, lack of staining on the forehead gland (from what I can tell) and clear difference between neck and chest tell me he's a three year old. Any other pictures. Good luck with him next year!

In my woods he'd have to be a 4 1/2 year old (almost unheard of) to have a rack like that. But the pics tell me he might be a healthy 3 1/2 year old. Are there crops in the area? Very nice buck either way.
