how close do you think io should set my decoy's to my blind?
last year I set them at about 25 yards but I could'nt get the turkeys to come in that close so im not sure what to do

Set'em on top of the blind. Seriously.... It's not uncommon for old long beards to come within 20 yards of deeks and wait for the "hen" to come to them. I would try setting them at 10 yards. If that doesn't work I would say you may be hunting in some high presured areas and the turks have "blind awareness". Try moving your blind in to cover and brushing it in a little bit.

Arguably most say turkeys are dumb and don't remember anything. I beg the differ....

Hen closest to the blind, then a jake 5-6 yards farther away. Piss that Gobbler off.

If using a strutter face it towards the blind at <15 yards...an incoming gobbler will circle in front to face the deke (thus away from you allowing you to draw). Hen can be pretty much anywhere as I've never seen a gobbler approach a strutter only to ignore it and focus on the hen
