My wife put hats on my whitetail, bear and musky. She also hung stockings off my mule deer and antelope. I said it was wrong, but didn't put up much of a fight. The mounts are up all year long, the decorations only a few weeks. Plus, the kids really get a kick out of it.
ok let me say this. first i love bow hunting! some of you guys that say its disrespectful to the animal your talking out your butt. lets be honest killing a deer with an arrow is in a way disrespectful. its one of the slowest ways to kill in my opinion think about it. putting a hat and stuffed dolls on it is the best thing you did to the thing. if you have kids it seems like a fun way to celebrate Christmas. honestly some people on here drive me crazy! maybe i need a break from this site for awhile.... the ironic thing about it is i would not hunt deer any other way. you will never find me hunting deer with a gun. all im saying is some of you guys need to think a little more about what your saying.
Talking out our butts ??? Is it that big of a deal ??? I really don't care what you do with your mounts. Why should you care what I do with mine ??? Surely not something to go crazy over nor do we need to think a little more before we post. The question was asked... we answered. You need to rethink this. Have you ever killed a deer with a well placed shot from a bow? I believe that eating the "thing" and sharing it with family and friends was the best thing I did to the "thing". What, so now you are an elitist? Plenty of people here hunt with multiple weapons. I think that you should follow your own advice. Good luck, I hope you find yourself on your sabbatical.

Danny you let your wife decorate your mounts. You lose automatically there is no fight your done I do find it funny your were threatening to take your ball and go home over this post
