Thanks, bud! I learn a TON from my dad everytime we undertake a project like this. I would love to sit here and take credit for it all, but honestly, there's NO WAY it would be done without my dad. I did branch out more and do some of the work by myself (electrical, railings, and the deck surface installation), but my dad has the experience and the courage to go installing support girders that tie into existing walls Thanks, Scott. Most of the mistakes/imperfections are my doing of course. I think I notice them more since I'm looking for them. Maybe in exchange for a KY velvet hunt:D
Thanks, Dan! I'm a teacher. I'm too slow to be a contractor. Look how quickly Scott built that screened in porch:D
Wow that is a nice deck! Great job Matt. I have 2 decks that need to be replaced and I have zero skills when it comes to that.
Thanks, fellas! Appreciate it. I'm heading out here now to finish laying more block of another retaining wall and prepipng the area to the left of the deck for a patio pour next week. Does it ever end?
That looks like a ton of hard work right there! It turned out looking great! Congrats on a fine project and here's to being done with it
