After absolutely falling in love with my Chill X as a hunting bow last year, I thought I probably wouldn't hunt with a different model for a few years. Fast forward to February when I received my TRG, and I fell in love with the NoCam cam system but still had a Chill X Pro I liked really well as well as my Camo Chill X for hunting.

I absolutely loved the Stone Tactical color on the HTRs the first time I saw it. So I decided to get one and give it a shot! First impressions of the bow, is its a great feeling bow. I love the riser and the color is the best they've ever had. I didn't want another Camo bow because the Camo finish seems to show wear a lot worse. I'll let you guys know how i like it once I get it set up and put it thru its paces!

Welcome to the club. Your HTR is simply breathtaking. What kind of strings are those?

Looks great. I'm afraid to try one because it would probably go home with me.

Sharp looking setup! I love my HTR, and glad I also went with the stone tactical as well. I went with flo orange accents on mine.

They're the factory Zebra Trophy X strings in solid pink and clear serving. I reserved the cables in .014" halo

Sharp looking bow! Any more in-depth info on your thoughts between the NoCam and your Chill X? I have a Chill R and wanting to try one out, but kind of afraid I'll end up wanting to buy it lol

I'll know more when I'm able to really shoot it more. I was already familiar with the cam system because of my TRG7. My gut feelings is that as an all around bow the Chill X might be the better bow. Better axle to axle, better brace height, better speed. The HTR tunes easier. The draws are polar opposites and are both smooth. The Chill X loads up more in the front end of the draw where the HTR loads up at the end. Much like a single cam. A lot of differences between the two and similarities. I'll try to get you a better answer soon
