We're so off track here. This is what liberals do. They push off topic, and dredge up things in the past to deflect any criticism being made about their failings. Obama did this repeatedly in the last debate. Never willing to answer the question asked, just start talking and people will forget what the question was and think you actually answered it.
Or is it people lightening the mood on a very tense subject? Having a conversation.. in a sense.. or was this debate thread supposed to be just a debate.. instead of a discussion about a debate... I love how you think getting off subject is a leftist agenda meant to sidestep the issues at hand... Because leftists are the only ones that get off subject! This whole thread got off track pages ago, why didn't you chime in then? Anyway.. it's all Vito's fault.. so blame him
I'm referring to the nearly 2 pages about Bush, WMD's, Iraq and the likes. Has absolutely nothing to do with the debate and what people think of these two candidates. I'm not talking about the goofing around, I'm cool with that. When Obama is asked about his failed economic policies, he falls back on "It's Bush's fault", when he is asked about the deficit, "Bush put us in debt" blah, blah blah. It's the same blame game over and over. When your actions are questions, just blame the guy before you. In my opinion, that is not the actions of a LEADER. I leader would stand up and say, "I will fix this economy and bring it back to the strongest economy in the world. Instead we get, "I inherited a terrible economy. Just not the actions of a leader. And yes, I feel it is a liberal strategy used all too often.
That is definitely not owning it. Now tell me in all honesty that your comments were NOT directed at President Bush. It's easy, if its true.
My comment was directed at stirring the pot. You of all people should know that and not get sucked in. Hence, the zombie comment.
Yeah! That would be like republicans blaming the Clinton administration for the housing market collapse, under Bush's watch. That would never happen! Oh, the hypocrisy.
Hence my "it got off subject pages ago". The one thing you're not considering is a president's decisions do not only affect his time in office, they do affect subsequent offices. So, when Bush policies are affecting the current condition, they are absolutely relevant.
Right.. I think that's where this discussion went, to about a Republican screwing up... so... your point is? lol
For that to be true....Republicans would have to be screwing things up pretty often would they not? Sorry, couldn’t resist. I agree with you that a good leader would talk more about how they are going to fix things and Obama has not been doing that. But, don't act like politicians on both sides of the isle don't use the same type of strategies when in similar situations whether wrong or right. It's a political strategy...not liberal *deleted previous post as would not edit they way i wanted it too
Funny (but still interesting) take on the daily show running America like a business. http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/f...he-best-f--king-news-team-ever-audits-america So it begs the question. If we were to run America like a business, how would we handle the Mississippi's, Wyoming's and Minnesota's? $20 billion is a lot of federal money is balance for one state.
