So you are saying the majority of people from inner cities that are on government assistance, are cheating the system?

I am saying there is a larger percentage of them taking advantage of the system than most liberals would ever want to admit. Have you ever watched the video's that Nancy Pelosi's daugher made? She interviewed individuals standing in line at government assistance offices and most of them looked quite capable of work. Some even admitted that they did not want work, they only wanted the money. They did not look to be a small percentage of those in line. Ask anyone that works in those offices and they will tell you how discouraging it is.

I am also saying, they vote democrat.

 

Right, I understand all of that. But you said Trevor's example was the "rule", and not the exception. So are you saying the majority of people from inner cities on government assistance aren't in need of it?

I am saying that I believe we would feel like we had been robbed if we new the exact number of dollars that are being misappropriated and the percentage of people that abuse the system. There are families that are now several generations deep into the system. They "need" it alright, but how many are trying to do something about it?

 

I assure you, the amount of money abused by poor people is nothing compared to the amount of money abused my private companies and contractors of the government.

 

I have no disagreement that people abuse the system, but to say its the "rule", I think thats just making an assumption. I also don't believe it to be true.
