So, who came out on top in your opinion. I personally was impressed with Romney tonight. I feel he gained alot of ground Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
I think Mitt showed the nation how incompetent o is on the economy and basically lectured him about basic economic principals for an hour and a half. Can't wait till they talk about foreign policy. I just think its too bad that most voters can't even wrap their minds around the simple principals being discussed during the campaign.
Mitt Romney: "I'm not for a 5 trillion dollar tax cut"... Fact checker: "Romney's tax plan will cut taxes by 4.8 trillion dollars". Like stated in the debate, and by the tax policy center, it's going to increase the burden on the middle class by eliminating deductions. He's reducing the tax burden on business, not on the middle. Get it, "small" businesses pay the same rate as the middle, but the middle has deductions. So, the way you reduce the tax on the business and not the middle is remove those deductions. Say goodbye mortgage interest, student loan interest, child, etc tax credits/deductions.
You guys watched it, and all the conservatives liked mitt, I am stunned, lol I watch a good movie people "people like us".
Im flipping channels between cnn and fox news. Both think Obama got it handed to him tonight. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
The only reason im flipping the channel to cnn is to see what the other side had to say. I hate cnn and i know they are biased toward the dems as is fox news is toward the republicans. Even Bill Mauer said Obama is lost without his teleprompter. :D I wasn't a romney fan. I was voting for him for his business knowledge and against the liberal dems. I am more of a romney fan now than before, even though it didn't change my vote. But the debate did change many votes tonight:D Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
In all fairness to Obama, it was his anniversary and he seemed a bit preoccupied. Maybe he was thinking about what would be coming later. :D Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2

I find it hilarious that democrats consider not RAISING taxes a tax cut. You can't keep raising taxes on the top and expect them not to trickle down to us at some point. Cutting spending is the only answer to the problem. I don't really care for either candidate a lot right now, but Romney seems to want to spend a little less so lets give him a chance. Vote for Romney, he sucks less. If the Medicare cuts that have already taken place don't get reverted several small town hospitals will be essentially shut down (and before Vendetta jumps me, thats coming from Hospital administrators themselves not me).
I find it more hilarious that republicans consider raising taxes on the middle a tax cut... I won't jump you, I don't swing that way... The reality: Poor moderation, energetic Romney, cautious Obama = Romney Lead in the debate. I think most democrats will agree Obama didn't shine this evening. That said, two weeks from now will likely play out a bit different. Thankfully there's more than one debate. Though, I don't hold high hopes for next week. Only time will tell in the end.
Agreed. I say you don't raise taxes on anyone. Cut spending majorly. But thats a different thread. The debate hurt Obama tonight, and I think Ryan will absolutely destroy Biden....as for the last two, I say Romney and Obama will probably split them. I don't trust Romney yet, but I am a firm believer that Obamas plan as he has made it clear will fail this country majorly. Our government and yes healthcare need an overhaul, but it need not be rushed through without even being read and no input from the opposing side at all. These corrections of generational problems can't be fixed overnight, nor with the ideology of only one of the parties.
Was it just me or did that blue tie make the presidents ears look smaller? And after viewing last night I'm starting to see why he is so big into wind energy,he seems to have some personal experience in that field.
