I just purchased one for myself. Too many people saying good things about it, not to own one. Skeeters are bad here in Missouri this time of year. Anxious to see this thing do it's magic.

I have used Thermacell for years but never knew how well it worked until this summer building a new box blind for a friend. We turned it on as soon as we got out there then got the bright idea to turn it off and see how many blood suckers would come. Holy crap!!! Never turning it off in deep woods again. They work to keep em at bay

As everyone has already said Thermacell!!! It is definitely God's gift to early season. I even have a couple of the table top lantern models for camping and when out back in the yard. They are amazing!!!

I rub myself down with skunk grease.

Doesn't do a damn thing for the skeeters but you can't feel them biting due to the gag reflexes.

Themocells do work great though.

T cell and/or pray for frost...
I had decent luck with Sawyers (usually thought of as anti-tick spray) keeping them off during the day when putting in food plots this year. At the camp site after dark though- not so much.

Ok, I'll join the parade. I often hunt out of a blind in a swamp. I swear by Thermacell.
