Once again, I'm just sharing some pics of bucks of my past, before my days of being with Bowhunting.com. Here's the buck I shot in Minnesota 10 days after I shot my Throw-back Thursday buck #2. I was only in MN for 2 days when this buck followed the trail that 3 other bucks had walked earlier in the evening. It was Oct. 30, and they were cruising pretty good that year, in search of their girlfriends. I shot him quartering away at 24 yards. I hope you all enjoy as much as I enjoy sharing some past history of mine. Shoot str8!
Dean, I'm really stating to look forward to you posting these threads. Keep em coming , an congrats again on another dandy of a deer!!!!
Thanks, but I've hunted a lot of years, and I shot a lot of little bucks too. I just kept raising the bar for myself of course, and now I watch more than I shoot. The more deer I've past over the years allowed me to learn more about them, since I started watching more than killing them. I should probably note, that every whitetail I've ever shot has been done the old fashioned way. That is knocking on doors and gaining permission. No guided hunts, and only free range in the wild. I'm against shooting anything in high fences. I'm not against guided hunts in the wild, the problem is I just can't afford them! Thanks again guys!
Dean, Just recently started watching the bowhunt or die show, never been very interested in "TV" hunts, but I have enjoyed this one, and really enjoy your segments the most. You seem to be the type of person I would hunt with. You have taken some great animal in the past. Wish you continued success.
Thanks Kansasbuck! I hope your season is successful also! That's a great buck in your profile pic. Kansas is on my bucket list, and I hope to hunt it someday! Good luck this season!
